| Even if i don't want to see any of these candidates become president ( i thought Thompson was the only one running with half a brain for this type of office ) , i have to handed it to Mcain and Obama . One is running as a liberal conservative , careful not to alienate the bleeding hearts , immigration apologists , and social " liberals " ( you know the rainbow bright crowd ) , and then you have Obama , who is basically running on his good looks , charisma and the big issue for him , Change . LOL , that's all i ever hear from him , we have to change everything , change our schools , change the car we drive , change our elected officials , change what we eat , change the oil in our cars , we must change ..... change . He's all about change is what i get out of his speeches , although he never actually articulates how we go about these supposed changes that need to be made , but we must change them nonetheless . Change for the sake of change , i am the future . I think Mcain pissing off the conservative base , according to the mainstream media , is just part of his strategy , if a democrat loving voter sees this , it can have a beneficial effect , they may start seeing him as an attractive option to the agent of change or even the stale Hinton , because they may think he holds the same beliefs , regardless of the little R next to his name . He's going after the people who haven't already made up their mind as of yet . Allright , politics bores me most of the time , but i will say , oh god , that song ( ear bleeding and so pathetic ) , hmm , can this be considered a donation that is over the the limit for Obama . Isn't it somewhere in the Mcain Feingold bill that there is a limit as to how much a business entity can donate to a campaign , this includes " soft " money , such as advertisements , commercials and the like . I don't know the details , but this could fall under this restriction , and did Obama support this bill ( i don't even know of he was in office at the time ) , would be somewhat hypocritical if he did , and regardless if he didn't , this video could very well be in violation of this federal restriction . Not saying i agree with it , but it's the democrats that wanted it , for the most part , and pushed it down the republicans throats . |
