| Posted by: Shockwave at January 15, 2008, 9:12 am | | Topic: New cast of Spider-Man 4 Forum: JoBlo | | Spider-man 1- 6/10 Spider-man 2 - 9/10 Spider-man 3- 5/10 I really feel that RAIMI was still finding the character when he made the first movie, and the second is one of the best comic book movies ive ever seen. The third is a mess, and while i know that was due to studio control, that doesnt exactly give me hope for the next one. What makes everyone think the studio isnt just going to muck up the next directors vision just as much? After the super well recieved Spider-man 1 and 2 u would have figured they would just let Raimi do what he wanted to do(Sandman and The Vulture), instead of throwing VENOM at hima and saying "make it work!". (..the dance scenes on the other hand, HAD to be Raimis idea, and fucking killed alot of the movie.) Id like for them to END the trilogy with these three and start up a new trilogy with a new cast, maybe a few years later. Show some character progression, like start the new movie series with Peter and MJ getting married(take that marvel comcis!) Bring some humor back into the series. |
