Why can't Peter Jackson direct The Hobbit movies?! I mean seriously...I have heard so many names thrown around and every name I hear seems to be worse and worse. FIRST I heard that Peter Jackson wasnt doing it at all and so that was terrible. THEN I heard that he was going to be producer on it so that made feel a little better. NOW I have heard that Sam Rami or Del Toro might be doing it and honestly I dont like the sound of either of those people. The Hobbit won't be The Hobbit unless Peter Jackson does it. It was his heart and soul and love for this story that made Lord of the Rings so good and I don't think that anyone else has the same love for this story as Peter Jackson did. I understand that he is busy working on other projects but I really think that if New Line wants to have as much success with The Hobbit as they did with The Lord of the Rings they need to have Peter Jackson do the entire thing. Or else this will be like Star Wars episode 1...it just doesn't feel like a star wars movie. So yeah I wanted to hear some other opinions and see if anyone is as raged as I am about all this? I also wanted to know if anyone has confirmed facts on who is actually directing The Hobbit? Because all I have heard is speculation. OK I thought the double spacing made it easier to read. If it didn't then I'm sorry.
