Crimson Kahuna hit the nail on the head here. Tarantino is notorious for babbling on about his dream future projects and what he wants to do with his films (remember the Vega Brothers? and the multitude of Kill Bill pre-sequels), authors he adapted (Forty Lashes would of been gold, yes.) and childhood movies (all these exploitation flicks, war movies etc.) and so on. I imagine him like a kid who always dreamt of eating a candy and he suddenly finds himself owning a chain of candy shops and he can't stop talking about all the ideas he has for the development and re-distribution of the candies he loved to have had as child. It's all just that, ideas, until production gets underway. The problem is the child is on hard core drugs, there's no doubt in my mind that he's on coke and e with alcohol and pot being like second nature to him. Like Kahuna says, as long as it doesn't get in his way of making awesome movies that's fine by me, he can do what he wants. Whatever his next movie will be, I'm there. Here's hoping it's Inglorious Bastards.
