Others, like me, are split on him: I despise his methods but I can't deny the fact that he is extremely fascinating and a cultural icon. To others, he is a hero, and they will gladly overlook any of his misdeeds by pointing to equally/more terrible people that were supported by the US (Pinochet, Somoza, Diaz, D'abuisson).
