Forum: JoBlo | | "The Motorcycle Diaries" was pretty good; Gael Garcia Bernal is a good actor, so that helped. However, (and I know I'm about to start some sh!t), I gotta roll my eyes at not one, but two more movies that appear to idolize this so-called man. I'm generally pretty left of center when it comes to politics, but Che was a paranoid, murdering psycho. I don't see how forsaking a life of privilege and supporting a system which has never benefited the people in any of its incarnations erases the murders he committed. I believe that the CIA spreads misinformation, but we have so much evidence against this man, it's ridiculous. I go to a school where practically every other student wheres a t-shirt with his image. One, that's ironic, because people are making tons of cash off the likeness of a communist, and two, I have to fight the urge to illuminate my peers that they might as well bring along a Charles Manson lunchbox if they are gonna support that sociopath. |
