Ok, having just watched this movie im a bit torn... I loved the supporting cast; Michael Cera was great and has yet to disappoint me, Bateman and Garner were solid, Juno's parents were great, especially the always brilliant Alison Janney...the best friend was annoying though. I thought the story was solid, not counting a lot of the teen dialog, and ended the way it should have... My problem is with the character of Juno. Ellen Page did a great Job, as she always does IMO, but the dialog she had to work with was at times atrocious. I know she is 16 in the movie, and that some teenagers talk that way, but the whole "Smarter than my age-too witty for you- bad myspace poet/blogger" thing is not interesting, and in fact is more annoying than anything else. The moments when Juno was vulnerable and real, and not trying too hard to over "hip" the whole thing were more than satisfying, but I guess thats being a teen. Mostly ridiculous with moments of clarity here and there. Good movie overall, but IMO not best picture caliber. 7/10
