I'm with ilovemovies. The "cocky asshole with the maturity of a 2 year old" has been done in way too many movies and enough with these "sports deconstruction" movies. The 'frat pack' have done it with Racing (Talladega Nights) Ice skating (Blades of Glory) Soccer (Kicking and Screaming) Dodgeball (Dodgeball) and now basketball (Semi-Pro) I'm even a fan of some of those films, but enough is enough already. I won't be seeing it in theaters, but maybe on DVD. Maybe.
