It was a great time when my family came down at X-Mas and we all saw it. And also, it definitely wasn't nearly as "ghettoized" as it was marketed to be, just a couple of references at most. Now, Friday's numbers: Vantage Point did pretty well and will make around the $25 million that I predicted. Jumper dropped like a fucking rock. Step Up 2 will drop 50%+. The Spiderwick Chronicles will have a small drop this weekend. Fool's Gold is still dragging in some cash. Definitely, Maybe did not do that well at all. Be Kind Rewind put up some decent numbers, and should have a decent PTA, although it probably would have done decently in a wide release. Charlie Bartlett didn't do so hot at all. Hopefully this is the end of Larry the Cable Guy. The Signal didn't do very well either, which is a shame because it is getting very good reviews and looks very good. |
