Step up 2 : electric boogaloo made a couple of duckets , now can it kindly hip hop it's way out of the top ten next weekend . It probably only cost 10 dollars and a happy meal to make considering everyone in it is unknown and just happy to get a paycheck , so i would think it's going to be profitable . It looks like just another waste of film that will be forgotten ... wait what film was i talking about ? What did Diary do in limited release , will have to check out those numbers . Diary made 225,000 in 42 theatres for a PSA of $5,357. Which isn't half bad, but sadly I don't think it's enough to get it to expand. Land of the Dead did fairly well a few years ago, though, so I still think the studio should go for a semi wide release, at least. Let people see the film!
