Ratatouille should be able to make it to 200 million, though Transformers is going to have a rough road to 300, particularly with the legs Potter will have, not to mention all the other movies opening over the next couple of weeks. Potter should be number 1 again next weekend, unless Adam Sandler fans flock in huge droves (lets hope not), and its likely to have solid weekday numbers all week leading up to the release of book the final, both from new viewings and fans seeing it for a 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th time. Potter has a really nice headstart over the other entires into the franchise, and may end up being the highest grossing, or 2nd highest of them all, and the 2nd film in the series to cross 300 million. Its certainly one to watch over the next weeks. |
