Not many surprises this weekend. I felt Monster House and POTC 2 would be neck and neck for the top spot. Clerks 2 is doing fine and it has to be taken into accout that its theatre count is about 1,000 less than the other major releases so it's number was never going to be huge. I felt going in Lady in the Water would underperform and My Super Ex-Girlfriend would be a total bomb with 4 new releases and a strong holdover in POTC 2 this type of weekend was inevitable too many movies with not enough box office dollars to go around.
