I live in a small city the same size as yours, and have the same monopoly problem. Fortunately, we do have one art house for indie films and another in a neighboring town not too far away. But it is such a drag when movies are put out as limited releases, since they don't come anywhere near us. (4 hour drive to LA, 8 hour drive to San Francisco) All we can do is pray for them to get wide releases that don't always happen. |
