| I know where you are coming from, and may have misread your intent with the thread. Postal is a good example of human suffering being used purely for entertainment purposes without real commentary. I kind of think the role of the audience is up to the audience. Even with something like Postal, it kind of made me think, and I'm pretty sure that wasn't the intention. On the other hand you have Schindler's List, where I do feel that was made wanting people to get invested in the subject. It's really hard to say, you know, because the type of person who would feel no remorse for laughing at a tragedy would not be the same type of person who would think these things out as you have, and vice-versa.
