Forum: JoBlo | | Maybe I missed thinking of high school kids cause I always go straight to "The Breakfast Club" and "Superbad" when I think high school "I feel like Weird Science was close too"....those flicks were A LOT like my high school experience (although, most of the kids at my school enjoyed being a stereotype and if locked ina library with other kids different from them would not even talk, let alone form a club) But I will say, having finally started to watch Heroes, that it's probably true (the high school stuff in this show drives me nuts). I think I'd vote for black people...but midgets don't get off so well either...seriously, think about it (aside from The Station Agent, who can think of a movie with a midget where it wasn't a joke of some sort)... And I have to believe that pretty people in their thirtys are misrepresented, case bad rom-coms are such bullshit...nobody really acts like the characters in Fool's Gold or The Bride's Maid do they? |
