| The main problem with Matchstick Men was because Ridley Scott just isn't director he used to be. Had his skills not eroded to the point of pity Matchstick Men would've work as both a cool little character study and a great look into lives of con men. As it stands it mostly works as the former, even with the crappy (and kinda heavy handed) ending. |
