Topic: Step Brothers = Worst movie ever. Forum: JoBlo

The movie was filled with immature, grade school kind of humor and I just don't understand how any grown adult could find it entertaining. That seriously makes me worried about the future of our country. I mean, we have an adult child like Bush running things and look at all the messes he's caused. I suspect it's going to get worst and when people are enjoying films like Step Brothers, it proves I'm correct. Anyhow, I love a good debate as much as anyone...but I refuse to get into some message board argument over Step Brothers. I'm not going to defend my reasons for hating it because I should win by default. I could sit here and debate with you fans word for word but I've wasted enough of my time talking about this film. Believe me, I could help make this thread into a twenty page classic web fight, but because I hate this movie so much that it's not worth stressing myself out over and getting into some long debate. So you and other fans of this movie can have the last word cause I don't give a damn. It's not worth fighting over, especially since I won't change my mind and I doubt any of you will either. I will say that I have never seen that 300 spoof and I don't plan to, or any of the other stupid comedies mentioned. Step Brothers pretty much will keep me away from those kinds of films forever. In closing, to whoever said I was owned....I don't see how I was "owned". People quote others to express how they feel often. Are they suppose to explain what the original quote meant every time? I say no. And I never claimed Ebert was talking about Step Brothers with the quote. What he felt about North is what I felt about Step Brothers. After reviewing this post...I noticed I didn't even know the name of that 300 spoof and didn't even want to go look it up...nor did I want to go find the name of the poster who talked about the Ebert quote or the guy who said I was owned... .....I think that goes to show how little I care about this film or fighting about it. I'm not normally a lazy person, but when it comes to this topic, I'm a freaking couch potato. Listen to me if you want, don't listen to me. All I ask is that if you like this film, please don't ever come to my neighborhood. Thank you for reading.
