Have you read any Batman comic book, ever? I can understand that some liked Nicholson's joker better, be it bc of their love of Burton's Batmans, or what not, but even those people don't say that Ledger's performance was bad. He showed the perfect balance of seriousness, insanity, and hilarity that the joker has such a scary, unstable assortment of. And to say that people wouldn't have liked his performance as much if he were alive.. thats ridiculous. Heath Ledger's career would have skyrocketed, and he would have been infinately popular for the rest of his life. |
