Topic: Tropic Thunder Forum: JoBlo

Out of all the controversy surrounding this film walking in i expected to be shocked to the tenth power,but the only thing that shocked...but impressed me is how great Ben Stiller put together the action sequences in Tropic Thunder.I mean the helicopter flip and crash was fantastic.Ok on to the comedy core of this film within a film.Robert Downey jr steals the show with ease.Also a very funny cameo by Tom Cruise as a hairy,hip hop loving studio honcho.Not that the rest of the cast doesnt have there moments.Brandon T. Jackson and Jack Black have their moments.A lot of Hollywood injokes and sight gags also added to the film. All of the jokes dont work and some moments were dull to sit through but in the end i truly had a good time with this film.Comedy is risky and im glad to see so many people were willing to take risks to make this funny film. Scale of 1-10 an 8 p.s Booty Sweat energy drink hits stores in September ....Im not kidding
