Because if he feels there are aspects of the comic book that do not translate on screen, then he is flat out wrong. Everything from the comic book can be translated on the screen. Hell, there have been comic book movies that have proved it's possible. This idea that in order to make a comic book movie you have to take out every fantastic element of the characters and the world the character comes from may work for his movies, but that idea is the reason his movies will never, ever be the best Batman movies they could be. |
