Topic: Best Monologue of All Time? Forum: JoBlo
Does Samuel L. Jackson's "Ezekiel 25:17" or whatever count as a monologue? I'd have to mention that one. Most of my favs have been said already, like Alec Baldwin's sales contest bit in GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS. I'd have to include: - Denis Leary in SMALL SOLDIERS ("We can make guidance systems that can target some unlucky bastard 5000 miles away and shove a nuclear warhead right up his ass; I don't think we'll have a problem with this") - And also, Leary in the final scene of THE REF, I don't know if it counts as a monologue though ("I'll watch the Charlie Brown Christmas Special with your ashes heating my fucking house!")
