Topic: The 250 Greatest Films From The 21st Century (TSPDT) Forum: JoBlo
I was originally going to do a thread on the top 1000 films of all-time but it's just too big of a list to go through, plus I'm sure that the majority of people on here have seen quite a few of the movies on this list. So the website They Shoot Pictures, Don't They? takes hundreds of critic lists, throws them into some formulas they've made and then come up with a 'definitive' list of movies. Their biggest list is the top 1000 films of all-time, but they also put out this list of the 250 best movies from this century so far. I've seen 99 from the list (which is annoying as hell since I'm just 1 away from an even 100), but I'm sure some people on here have probably seen almost all of them. As of 2008, here's the top 10 films from the 21st century so far. Quote: 1) In The Mood For Love 2) Mulholland Dr. 3) Yi yi 4) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 5) Far From Heaven 6) Sideways 7) Lost In Translation 8) Y Tu Mamá También 9) A History of Violence 10) Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon You can read the other 240 Here.
