Forum: JoBlo | | House Of 1000 Corpses - I saw this once in theaters and walked out of it feeling so-so. I need to see it again but I'd probably enjoy it more now that I'm a bit older. Devils Rejects - Brutal, sometimes funny, horrific and all together brillant. The ending was so far out there and nuts that I couldn't help but love it. Halloween - I'm not on the hate bandwagon here. I enjoyed for what it was. Sure, it fell a few steps during the actual remake territory but a few scenes really stuck with me. Michael killing the man who actually treated him well when no one else did. Young Michael killing the bully in the woods (although the voyeur way it was shot at times still doesn't sit right with me) The remake part was weak and it felt like Zombie lost some of the spark from the first half. Overall though, I did enjoy it as a nice little homage/companion piece to the original. T-Rex - Not out yet. The posters are cool but I want some actual info as to what its about. Either way, I'll give it a shot more than likely. |
