Great film about superficiality and how people can get degrees and still be dumbasses and self centered. You ever meet those college grads who in mid-conversation mentions that they have a degree in

and you go, "What the hell? This guy's a total douche bag and a moron." This film is about them! I enjoyed the film because of how it treats its characters and keeps them at arm's length. A lot of people hate the film for that reason, like my cousin who said, "Didn't you find the film superficial?" And I told her, "Well, yeah, that's the point of the film. It would be a totally different film if they made them likable and you actually cared if they found love." |
