BTW, I love great looking Backgrounds/sets. One of the great things about the first two Terminator movies is that you can re-watch them countless times and still admire shots the director filmed and set pieces that were set up. The lighting, specifically for the second film, also is something to appreciate. It has a cold, bleak feel to it and makes the intensity of the picture all the more effective. T3 is too "prettied" up; every set piece is carefully placed. It has no raw feeling or edge to its action. I couldn't agree more!!
For example, The part where Aronld put on that stupid sunglasses and the part where the T-X has her boobs enlarged when she was pulled over by the cop are both cheap and lame gags that would be more fitted in Scary Movie (or Epic Movie/Superhero Movie/Meet the Spartan/Disaster Movie....all those craps). Terminator 3 should have been a serious movie, it didn't need such lame gags.
I am not saying you can't put some humorous moment into it, but atleast put some smarter jokes in instead of using those stupid ones. |
