| I don't smoke myself, but because my parents - and more than a handful of other relatives - smoked for as long as I can remember (although my mum finally quit a few years ago), I don't condemn those who choose to (aside from some gentle ribbing every now and then), nor do I put myself on a pedestal for being a non-smoker. It's not necessarily a turn-off for me, either; I'd rather date a down-to-earth girl who happens to smoke as opposed to an uptight, health-nut bitch who throws a hissy fit and acts holier-than-thou if someone nearby lights up a cigarette. |
