I actually watched it after deciding to skip Pixar's movies. They're not my cup of tea. And although this movie is a fucking diamond, it doesn't make me want to go back and watch the Pixars I missed. This is stratospherically superior to anything made by Pixar, or anyone else for that matter. Yeah, so there's some things I couldn't help to question, and the thing lost most of its charm whenever humans showed up on screen, but who cares. It's a technical wonder (I'm thinking the first assured Oscar, "Wall-E" for sound design); it's purdy, adorable, intelligent and complex. And a little too bleak for G-rating. Definitely the best movie computer animation has made. Sure I still prefer "Kung Fu Panda" or "Ice Age" for rewatching pleasure, but "Wall-E" is indubitably superior.
