Forum: JoBlo | | This hurts because I love and respect Kevin Smith as a writer and as a person but with the exception of Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma, the rest of his movies are mediocre. Yes there is some great stuff in the others but when you look at the movies as a whole they really don't do much for me. And to be honest, I don't think I've laughed as much in any Kevin Smith movie as I did when I saw 40 Year Old Virgin and Superbad in the theaters. I was laughing hysterically from start to finish. Not even Clerks had that affect on me so I'll have to go with Apatow. |
