Forum: JoBlo | | On the visual point, Tarantino doesn't try to be the flashiest motherfucker on the planet with bullet time, slow mo, bright colors, improbable looking situations, and silly little crap just to spice things up. He captures whatever set he's in, whether it's Los Angeles, Japan, China, Mexico, and makes it absolutely stunning. Maybe if you haven't been to those places, you won't appreciate how bloody well he captures the essence of those places. Tarantino is an astounding director who doesn't need to be ultra flashy in order to make the movie look great and get people to enjoy the movie. |
