Thats probably why they called it something completely different rather then trying to pass it off. The thing i giggle about, is that no matter how "real" Nolan tries to makes things, hes still got a buy who dresses up as a flying rat to go out and fight crime with karate. Fantasy is a HUGE part of Batman, its a HUGE part of Batman RIGHT NOW in the comics, even with the fucking AWESOME Batman RIP storyline going on atm. To take that out would pretty much be to destroy a large part of what made BATMAN cool to me. Hes not like the Punisher, who just goes around shooting normal people. His mind is as every bit as sharp as his body, and often takes on foes that are more then just criminal masterminds. Those mystical nature or have strengths far great then the normal man. The rouge gallery Batman has collected over the years is probably the most badass of any comic book character, and it pisses me off to hear that some think over half couldnt even work in these movies. That Robin couldnt work in these movies. That The Batmobile couldnt work in these movies. It pisses me off when people try to pass these movies off as how it is in the comics WHEN ITS NOT. I love the first Batman Begins, its in my top 3 comic book movies of all time, and is in my top 100 of all time, but these movies are NOT more faithful to the comics then Burtons, even if they are probably MUCH better movies.
