Then I thought, "Wait a second...they couldn't have made two more of those movies..." I had no idea that Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were referred to as "The Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy." Interesting. I loved Shaun of the Dead, I'd rank it among my top 5 of favorite horror films. While I liked Hot Fuzz, it wasn't anywhere near as hilarious as Shaun, but it's funny nonetheless, and I love the Wright/Pegg/Frost trio. Spaced is incredible, too. I'm so relieved that "McSpaced" was stopped. That whole debacle was the last straw between McG and I (though Charlies Angels should've been...but I'm a man with needs, and I need hot women and wire-fu). The man didn't even have the decency to talk to Edgar and Simon about the project... |
