In that sense they are very similar to the Hellraiser films which I should also include on these threads. Heres some fantasy/horror from the 90s: Leprechaun - Wow, this ones a mega cheese fest. I actually made a group of my highschool friends see this one in the theaters because I thought it was going to kick ass. Everyone wanted to kill me after we got out of the theater (actually during the movie as well) specially since our other option was Bram Stokers Dracula, a far superior picture. Still, this movie is cheesy fun. I re-watched it a couple of days ago, its actually a fun watch cause the movie is so bad. And watching Jennifer Aniston getting her tooshie dirty in a horror movie was great. Was this her first film role? I believ it was! Leprechaun 4: In Space - I remember this one actually being a fun time. It was gorier, slimier and more entertaining (in a cheesy way) then I had expected. Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth - Old Pinhead is trapped in an art sculpture (why? who the hell knows, he just looks cool!) and is urgently looking for some idiot to bring him back to reality so he can bring his cenobytes start hell on earth. One thing I remember pretty well, one of the cenobytes has a cd-player stuck to his head! |
