I think it's just that we have different perceptions of the meaning of "underrated". I put those movies basically because they don't get as much recognition as I feel they deserve. And I've never heard Mystic River called a classic around these boards, which is where I'm referring to when I say the films don't get enough attention. I wasn't including the original acclaim upon the films releases, I was talking about how they are thought about here and now. I guess I should have made that clearer. |
