Topic: Is Scorsese/DiCaprio the new Scorsese/De Niro? Forum: JoBlo

In my opinion No Way. The Scorcese/Deniro collaborations are classic. Just like Outsyder said Scorcese and Deniro were in there prime/pinnacle of there careers and made some of Film's all time classics. The only film Dicaprio that reaches up to any of Deniro's is The Departed, which is a fantastic film, hell even a to be classic. So that's 1 to 5. Dicaprio I'm sure will make great films with Scorcese since he's entering his prime, but I don't think it will ever be as great as when Scorcese was with Deniro. Scorsese/DeNiro: Goodfellas - 10/10
Cape Fear - 9/10
Casino - 10/10
Taxi Driver - 10/10
Raging Bull - 9/10
Mean Streets - 9/10
New York New York - Have yet to see
The King of Comedy - Have yet to see Scorsese/DiCaprio Gangs of New York - 8/10
The Aviator - 7/10
The Departed - 10/10
