Topic: Tim Burton Has To Know He Fucked Up Forum: JoBlo

I recently watched the Burton Batman flicks, and forgot how good the original was. The second one? Not so much. I mean, I forgot what Batman looked like after the first half hour. Fuck the Penguin, his drawn out and boring storyline of becoming mayor and fucking up gotham, with catwoman just purring along kinda pissed me off and bored me to death. I really think he screwed up Returns, no wonder Keaton didn't wanna come back... he was barely in it until the second half. The classic Burton creepy music, the fucked up clowns.. it was just a shitty burton movie in my opinion. The original Batman was a lot less Burton-esque and was so much better in my eyes.
