And I dont really consider Batman 89 THAT campy. It was pretty dark for the most part. Not as dark as Batman Begins but dark nevertheless. I havent see the '89 version in awhile but I remember one part when the Joker shakes the hand of some other gangster and he fries him to death. ANd you see his dead corpse fried to bits while the Joker is laughing. That shit isnt exactly for little kids ya know? Burton did a terrific job IMO.
