Well, with all the crazy action and stunts we have seen from the Quantum of Solace trailer so far.... you would expect a major accident like this to have taken place during the shoot. ...Not so in this case. Quote: Reported on April 20th 2008: The iconic car used by James Bond, the Aston Martin, was surely totaled when it was accidentally driven off the road and into a lake. It was being delivered to the set of the latest 007 movie in a rain storm when the accident occurred. The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Of course, the new James Bond flick is titled “Quantum of Solace” and stars Daniel Craig. Although this source article doesn’t mention it, I highly doubt Craig was involved in the crash. According to other sources, the $189,214 (USD) dollar car was the only one available for the film shoot, so it appears that Bond may have to go with a slightly less expensive car, possibly a 2001 Ford Focus. That’s a joke, of course. Side of Quantum SpaghettiOs: The spy word for today is: Cobbler. Of which is a spy word that could maybe be used to describe our favorite spy (Bond) or one of his associates in this upcoming film.
