| George Carlin was probably one of, if not the, most influential male figure in my life, regardless of the fact that I never actually met him in person (Regretably ). Not only was he the funniest comedian ever, a man with range from highly articulate to disgustingly juvenile, Carlin's insight into the human psyche and the world around us shaped my fragile young mind and allowed me to become the free-thinking individual I am, unruled by religion, the media, or any other conformity. But most of all, he taught me to be fearless. Thank you, George Denis Carlin. |
