| I'm a HUGE fan of the Friday the 13th series, I think a remake is just what the series needs (no joke, the series was trying really, REALLY hard by the time Jason Goes to Hell came about), AND I also think that Marcus Nispel is JUST the person to do Jason justice; Nispel did wonders for the insanely boring Texas Chainsaw Massacre with the remake and prequel. I don't give a fuck what anyone says - the original TCM was complete shit - great idea, but garbage movie - the remake is where it's at. I also think that all of these horror remakes (for the most-part) are surpassing the originals, not only in acting talent, but SFX, dialogue, story re-vamps, etc. Anyway, the long and short of it is: I can't fucking wait for the Ft13 remake. |
