The performances are really good (after comparing this with his performance in Hot Fuzz, I have decided Paddy Considine rocks!), there is some good dialogue (albeit unpleasant) and the movie is actually rather thought provoking - 'should we take revenge and to what extent?', 'are we as bad as the baddies for resorting to their actions?', 'what is God's take on revenge', etc. I wasn't totally satisfied or impressed with the ending, but still, a good watch. 8/10 |
