I actually wish there was more of a mystery. The characters in the film get it right in the first half an hour, it's a joke. I mean, this really is a godawful film. I think he was trying for something new here, this could have been a fine effort. Unfortunately, the man just simply did not try. I could have pissed a better script than this. The actors looked embarrassed in their roles, Wahlberg (who I don't like at the best of times) annoyed the hell out of me. What was up with his voice? Why did he start singing to the people in the farmhouse? God, he made me cringe. Even the violence was done poorly. The UK got some cut, too. There should have been a constant sense of dread, but I honestly just did not know what was 'Happening' here. JOKE. |
