| I can imagine myself growing a massive ego after making a film with one of the best twists in recent history. Still, that's no excuse to carry on desperately trying to reel them off unnecessarily in the rest of your work, which seems to be the main peeve with this guy. I've only seen three of his films, two of which I liked, one of those being 'The Village', which I will stand by any day. He is a fine, fine director and not much less of a writer. Where is the proof of this EGO through his writing? I'm not going against the statement, I've just never noticed this myself. From what I've seen, he started off fantastically, had a slight dip, came back up again. I'll see if this wave continues after seeing 'The Happening' tomorrow. |
