I loved how they gathered in secret, prepared for the big battle against the evil in their world. I agree, its slightly less action packed then the first, less focus on the big fx sequences, but it did have one great wizard battle in the end which left me breathless. I loved that place they go, with all those endless hallways filled with potions and what not.... Its got some great visuals, I agree that it doesnt have as much action, but its very well written, I love the message its putting across (very fitting for our crazy times) and I just appreciate the fact that J.K. Rowling takes the opportunity that she has (with all her fame and all) to send a very important message to those who read her books and consequently, see the movie. I applaud you Mrs. Rowlings, your books have matured way past the fish out of water phase and gone into much much deeper and relevant territory. |
