I never understood the Wayans' reasoning here. The best parodies are done when a genre becomes baroque, not later. Still...at least it was vaguely funny. Like you said - the second one was better, but seriously, that's not saying much. But a big flaw with the second is that, much like pretty much ever one of its successors, it forgets what its plot is about halfway through and just says 'fuck it, let's just do random shit and see what happens.' This should never be considered a valid option for building to the conclusion of a movie. Even a bad one. |
