Forum: JoBlo | | Everyone already knows that Tony Stark (AKA Iron Man) shows up in "The Incredible Hulk," and now, director Louis Leterrier has confirmed that fans will get to see Captain America as well. In an interview with SOS Hollywood, Leterrier revealed the exact place where the cameo will take place. "There's a point when Bruce Banner gives up on his quest for the cure and decides to kill himself," said Leterrier. "So he travels far North and reaches the Arctic Circle. You might have seen bits of it in some of the promos. The result was a very dark and strong scene, which Marvel, me and everyone else considered to be too hard for young audiences to take, so we've cut it. Having that said, when Bruce arrives at his destination he meets up with Captain America!" The Artic Circle has indeed showed up in several of the trailers and TV spots, but outside of an aerial shot, there is nothing more. Not to worry, explained Leterrier. "At some point this week, we will make it available on the internet – but I cannot tell you where or when – and the material will definitely be on the DVD." And speaking of the DVD, the director confirmed that the Blu-ray version will contain over 70 minutes of cut footage. The film hits theaters tomorrow (June 13th). |
