Topic: The Strangers Forum: JoBlo

That's what gets me , the horror films being touted lately , is there really that much of a dearth of even serviceable horror that even mediocrity is praised now . I can't really say much about Strangers , i'm just going off of your review , but i never really thought Ils ( Haute Tension had a 10 or so minute house invasion that was more effective than anything in Ils , but that was only one part of it ) was anything special , so that could have turned me off to a movie with a similar premise .
