As far as their worst pics go, I think Roeper picked 10,000 BC because it was awful AND it made 94M (though not enough to make back its budget ). Mute Saint had it right. Spoof movies and Uwe Boll efforts are so blatantly wretched that they shouldn't count as actual movies (same with The Hottie). I also figure Roeper and Phillips don't want to resurrect memories of said products for either themselves or the audience. While I agree with JoeChar about Phillips being a worthy successor, no one can replace Roger Ebert (hope he gets his voice back soon). |
