As a fan of the series who has seen every episode, and as a male (albeit a bisexual one, I mean hey, I love the ladies, but I won't deny enjoying men as well, and some of the fashion and girly stuff that goes along with homosexuality) I adored the film. The characters were all wonderful and great from the series, and I loved Jennifer Hudson's small but pivotal role. It was funny and charming and very sweet and romantic, but also a bit dirty and dark at times, reaching emotional heights the series never quite strived for, and hitting a few disgusting yet hilarious moments. I will admit that the film is a bit bloated at nearly 140 minutes, but I enjoyed almost all of it, and it felt like returning home to some great friends. I wouldn't recommend it to most straight males or people who aren't fans of the series, but for those of us out there (and there are a lot of us) the film captures the magic, the sex, the romance, and the emotion of the series and is truly enjoyable. 8/10
