Topic: What critically acclaimed and all time classic movies do you dislike Forum: JoBlo
I've always hated the Lord of the Rings movies. I actually fell asleep the first time I tried to watch the first one (which never happens to me when watching movies). While I've only seen it once, I thought the Godfather was overly dramatic and a bit cheesy. For more recent movies, I didn't really care for There Will Be Blood. Also, No Country for Old Men I thought was 3/4 of a great movie, but then the ending killed it. It's like they decided to go out of their way to try and make the movie espicially "deep and meaningful" to win some awards... and it worked. It was such an excellent crime/thriller until they totally fucked it up; so anti-climatic.
