Yeah I can easily see why this film wouldn't work with people. It is at times slow where nothing happens. But I do love it as well, not as much as some people but the scenery, the three characters brought to life by Hopper, Fonda and Nicholson and the over-all "fuck you" statement to the Hollywood machine that the movie champions makes me respect it and its makers. 8/10
